But it’s here now and …

President-Elect Barack Obama may have a plan to put one million new plug-in hybrid cars on the road, but he won’t be riding around in one of them. He’s ditching the Escape Hybrid for the most monstrous Presidential limousine yet — and fuel-efficiency clearly isn’t on the mind of its designers. Disguised to look like a stretched Cadillac DTS, it’s actually built on the platform of GM’s 2500 series trucks. …

After a summer of $4 gas prices, we weren’t sure we would even see the stuff down to $2 a gallon or less again. Apparently, we were wrong. Cellular phone and mapping services company TeleNav is finally introducing its first portable GPS device, called the Shotgun. And unlike other new devices to the market, TeleNav is distinguishing the Shotgun by making it a two-way, Internet-connected device that will offer real-time features, updated gas prices and business listings. Hmm. Okay, not so distinctive. As the GPS reviews on our site indicate, several devices now offer these services. But TeleNav …
