Premiere demo for the world’s safest truck by Volvo Trucks at the EU show in Paris

Volvo is the first manufacturer in the world to demonstrate a truck equipped with sophisticated technology that alerts the driver of dangers on the road and helps him or her avoid accidents. This new technology can help save thousands of lives on the roads. Over a period of four years, 55 companies in the automotive industry have been conducting research in this field and they will now present their results at a show in Paris. Volvo is participating in eleven different sub-projects and has now installed many of these next-generation systems in a truck.
